Iftar Party at Govt Polytechnic Hostel








An Iftar Party was organized at the Hostel of Government Polytechnic Gulbarga on Wednesday the 10th August 2011. It was presided by Mr Suresh Shetgar, the Warden of the Hostel & lecturer in the college. Speaking on the occasion the chief guest Jb Mohammed Ziaullah, President JIH Gulbarga said, today feeling has developed among the masses that nobody is watching them and thus nobody has control over them. This thinking has made them to feel independent to do what ever they want to do. As a result anarchy like conditions are developing. The morality, humanity, justice have become the words of the past. "Eat, drink and make merry" has become motto of life. To achieve this one can do any thing whether right or wrong, moral or immoral, legal or illegal. Under these circumstances The Roaza, a day long fast from dawn to dust brings an awareness among the Muslims that there is a supreme power who is continues watch our deeds whether day are done in broad day light or in the darkness. In fasting one is abstained from drinking, eating and sexual desires apart from doing all misdeeds. And this process continues for a month. This brings in a controlling power in one self. He said Ramazan is a month in which Quran was revealed, which is a book of guidance to the humanity. One has to read it without any prejudice, One can feel that it is the Word of Guidance for him from his creator.

Presiding the function Mr Suresh Shetgar said that India is a country where in people from different faiths are living together in harmony for many centuries. The people here have intrincic value which they follow may be from revealed one.

Mr Shankar, Lecturer from Dept of Telecommunication was also on the dais. Many other Lecturers, stahh of the hostel and the inmates of the hostel beside Jamaat & SIO associates were present in the party. The Warden, other Lectures were given gifts containing Para Amma (Last Part of Quran), Biography of Prophet Muhammad PBUH and other books in Kannada. Students were also given a booklet "Call from their Lord" in Kannada.

Iftar Party at Grameen Police Station Gulbarga






An Iftar Party was organized by Jamaat Islami Hind Gulbarga at Grameen Police Station Gunj, Gulbarga on Friday the 5th August 2011 for the staff of the Police Station. Mr Anand N S, the Police Inspector of the Station was the chief guest. Addressing the gathering Mr Mohammed Abdul Qader, Member Local Advisory Council, said Roza, the day long fasting from dawn to sunset in which Muslims abstain from eating drinking and sexual desire to please Almighty Allah SWT as he has instructed them to do so in the Holy Qur`aan. The fasting is to pure oneself from all sorts of evil things. He said this is the month in which our creator has revealed the Noble Quran for the guidance of entire humanity. For the one to be succesful in this life as well as in the life after death he or she has to follow this book and there no other way. Speaking on the importance of Zakaat the compulsory giving of alms to the needy, he said the man has become so greedy that he wants every thing for himself by what ever means it may be. Where as the System of Zakaat developes love and affection for the fellow being, He said as per the police records there were 25000 deaths due to inability to pay interest based loans in Karnataka itself.

Speaking breifly on the occasion Mr Anand SN, the Police Inspector said, such programs will bring hormony in the society. He expressed his happiness that he came to know about the Holy Quran and importance of Roza.

BIE Program in Wadi Jn Gulbarga Dist










The War of between the Good and the Evil is on in which the Western Culture and the Islamic ideals are at the tenterhook. The Western cultures is so dominant that its, ideology is being propagated right at our own houses through a strong electronic media. It is the need of the hour to protect our new generation from this invasion through populations of right ideals in the light of the Holy Qur`aan and the Sunnah. These were the words expressed by Jb Mohammed Yousuf Khan, Asst Chief Organizer, BIE Gulbarga at an Introductory and facilitation function organized at Al Ameen Urdu High School, Wadi a town near Gulbarga on Friday the 5th August 2011. He called upon the pupil to think of the rewards bestowed by the almighty in the life here after for those who obey his commandments in this life. For this one should learn the basic teachings of Islam. For the very purpose he said The Board of Islamic Education Karnataka has come with a five year distance education program for the school/ college going boys and girls.

Addressing the gathering Mr Feroz Khan, member AlAmeen Education Society Wadi said that it looks that BIE has come to the doors of the school as Masiha in the times of evil mongers. Mr Mohammed Naseeruddin, BIE Organizer, Gulbarga and the life member of Al Ameen Education Society Bangalore has called upon the students to make be use of the courses offered by BIE so that Islamic values can be inculcated. He said BIE is organizing these courses in four languages viz., Kannada, Urdu, English and Hindi. Mrs Fahimunnisa the Head Miss of the School offered vote of thanks. The program was attended by the students, teaching staff of the school and the parents.

Board of Islamic Educations Prize Distribution Program at Gulbarga













Right education and right training is the need of the hour, and getting job should not be criteria to get educated but it should be to know their creator and fellow beings and the responsibilities towards fellow beings. These are the words expressed by Mr Atharuulah Sharies, Bangalore, Vice Chairman, Board of Islamic Education Karnataka and the Secretary, Jamaat e Islami Hind Karnataka Zone, while presiding over the Prize Distribution Program on last Saturday the 16th July 2011 at Shalimar Garden Function Hall, Gulbarga organized by the Board of Islamic Education. He expressed his concern at the fact that right from kg to University level there is no single word about our creator Allah. He said in agriculture where in formation of plants is being taught, unfortunately we are not teaching about its creator. As a result most of the educational institutions are manufacturing educated animals. He said there was a period where in the west use to turn towards Muslim world to gain knowledge and learning. Muslims were highly educated and were masters in the field of Physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, agriculture, astrology, geology, mathematics, and what not. Muslim countries were so developed that they had street lights when there was no proper means in the west to get rid of darkness. He express his satisfaction over the fact that even in today’s demanding times Muslim women is not an exploited lot and that the Muslims are still far better in their morality compared to their compatriots. However they are being framed in many misdeeds. He called upon the gathering to uphold the highest Islamic values and exhibit highest morality as this is the religion which teaches its followers to attend to that sick enemy who pours garbage onto us.

Mr Tahir Hussain the Secretary Board of Islamic Education Karnataka giving his inaugural address said that the board was established in the year 2002 with the objective of imparting basic Islamic knowledge to school going boys and girls so that they are aware of their religion. It was found that due lack of such institutions the wards are deprived of Islamic teachings to such an extent that when asked their religion they say it is Hindu. He said board is offering five year correspondence course in four languages viz., Kannada, Urdu, English and Hindi with specifies syllabus. Every year thousands of students including non Muslims are appearing for these exams. This year 17000 have appeared. In which one of them is Sharanu Digambar hailed from Yadgir who got First State rank in Certificate course. Explaining other activities of the board he said the board is striving to remove objectionable parts from the teaching syllabus in school and colleges, it is organizing counseling programs to students, updating the teaching community with modern knowledge, formed federation of college managements to look into the problems faced by these institutions.

Mr Syed Abdul Rub, KAS, Additional Commissioner for Public Instructions, Gulbarga addressing the gathering called upon the student community to be like a pencil which strives to work till the end and try to become like lead of the pencil which is of use not its covering and said that intrinsic values of a person are more important.

Dr M.B.Dilashad, Assoc Professor, Dept of Women’s Studies, Women’s University Bijapur, expressing his concern for the degradation of the status of teachers while their income has increased considerably. He wandered at the fact that the Ummah which was taught about the importance of learning knowledge as Farz (duty and obligation not an option) is far behind in this field where in find hardly any IAS from this community. Commenting on education system he said that is unfortunate that we are still teaching the same things which were formulated many years ago. He called upon the teaching community to develop and inculcate morality among the students and called upon the students to know the importance of time as every second is important.

Islamic Book Stall at Kannada Sahitya Sammelan




Gulbarga Jilla Kannada Sahitya Parishad organized a two day 12th Gulbarga Jilla Sahitya Sammelan at its premises well known newly constructed Kannada Bhavan in Gulbarga on 19th & 20th June 2011 ie., Sunday and Monday. Well known personnalities of Kannada literature attended the program. A large number of Kannada loving people also prticipated in different sessions of the sammelan.
Jamaat e Islami Hind Gulbarga exhibited Islamic Literature in Kannada from Shanti Prakashana. The Holy Quran, Hadees Books, Biography of Prophet PBUH, books based on Islamic teaching were exhibited. A large number of fellow compatriots visited the stall and shown keen interest in reading the books. Many of whom purchased Islamic literature which was made available to them in Kannada. Many were surprised to see the Holy Quran and other Islamic literature in their language.

Counselling for SSLC PUC students

As part of the education awareness programme Jamaat e Islami Hind Gulbarga organized a counselling program for PUC II & SSLC students on 4the June 2011. Mr Hashmatullah Khan, ex General Secreatry, SIO of India, Mr Hamza Muazam Ali, an Engineer, Mr Qalid Parvaz, educationist and Mr M A Qader an Engineer, who have undergone specialized training in organizing counselling conducted the counselling program. It was organised at Phoenix-Ideal Public School. The objective was to guide the students in dilemma in pursuing their carrier.

Education Awareness program at Govt High School, MSK Mills ( a slum area)






We are identified by our foul language, misconduct, lying, backbiting, uncleanliness etc, where we should have been identifies with our knowledge and education. The were the words spoken by Jb Mohammed Ziaullah, President Jamaat e Islami Hind Gulbarga while addressing the parents from the poor families at an awareness program organized by Jamaat at Govt Higher Primary School, MSK Mills Gulbarga on 14.06.2011. Presenting case study he said how a poor middle school drop out takes up SSLC exam with the motivation and help from fellow concerned friends and continues his education to complete diploma and Graduation in Engineering. He now is a cynosure of all people around. Therefore it is parent’s responsibility to see that their wards are properly educated. He called upon them to utilize the facilities provided by Government in the form of Free books, uniform ,mid day meal.

Speaking on the occasion Mrs Shahida Nasreen, Block CRP called upon the parents to send their children even if they were hungry so that they can not only become better earner also become good citizens. She called upon the mothers to take up education for themselves.
