Purification of Soul is a must for Reconstruction of Society

The group of people associated for the establishment of Allah`s law (deen) on to the land, should have the strong bond of love among themselves, strong relationship between them with keen observation on the positive and negative qualities in them and the promotion of righteous qualities are must to be effective in their efforts and to make their presence felt in the society. These were the words expressed by Jb Mohammed Abdullah Javid, President Jamaat e Islami Hind Karnataka, while addressing the huge gathering of Jamaat associated and well wishers from Gulbarga and Yadgir in a District Conference organized by Jamaat e Islami Hind at Mohammadi Garden Function Hall on Saturday the 26^th November 2011. He called upon them to convey the message to masses that Islam is the only way of life which gives solutions to all the problems faced by the humanity.

The program was started with the Quranic discourse by Jb Gulam Mahebeoob Khayat, President JIH Yadgir. Giving discourse on the verse 28 of Surah Alkahaf, he called upon the participants to be the companions of those who spend their day and night in pleasing the almighty Allah and see that they never deviate from this.

While delivering the inaugural address Jb Mohammed Yousuf Kanni, Regional Organizer, Gulbarga Region said, to introduce the Jamaat activities in various fields chosen by it and to call upon the associated and well wishers to join their hands to strengthen work in fulfilling their commitment for the cause of Iqamati deen District Conferences have been organized at 14 district head quarters.

Speaking on the topic “Islamic movement.. New fronts and new issues” Jb Mohammed Asifuddin, Bidar said, It is the responsibility of Muslim Ummah to perform the duty of Prophethood. To bring in an awareness among the Muslims Jamaat has established Womens wing, working in Youths by forming SIO and GIO to work in boys and girls, established social service wings and NGO`s, separate organizations for teachers, Ulema, masajid council etc. To convey the message of Allah, it has Dawah wings. To maintain harmony in the society and remove misunderstandings about Islam and Muslims it has formed FDCA, Dharmika Souharda Vedike etc.

Speaking on the topic “the practical ways of purification of soul” Jb S Ameen ul Hasan, Member, Central Advisory Council, Jamaat e Islami Hind said, for the reconstruction of society purification of soul is a must. He said that for this one need not have to keep himself isolated and away from society. He said by utilizing the worldly pleasures in such a way as been guided by the almighty and in such a way that he is pleased one can attain purification. It is our duty to change the world instead of thinking of purifying himself. To pure one`s soul it is necessary to remember death and be attached with Quran.

The one day District Conference organized for the Jamaat associated from Gulbarga and Yadgir districts was attended by about 250 men and 300 women, was also addressed by Mrs Sajidunnisa Begum, State Womens Organizer, Jb Ashfaq Ahmed Sharief, State President, SIO of India and Miss Madiha Afshan, State President of Girls Islamic Organization.

Jamaat leaders and other participants were delighted when Moualana Mahemood Khan, Ex President of JIH Karnataka, arrived at the concluding minutes of the program overcoming the age factor and the illness. All the state leader alighted from the dais to welcome him and escorted him to the podium.

Quran Pravachan at Sampigenagar Gulbarga

History is witness to the fact that there was never a time where in the man died the existence of God. He not only believed in the existence of God but also worshipped him in one form or the other. Due to his illogical thinking and knowledge he worshipped the one which had one or more powers. Islam gave the right concept of God. It called upon the people to obey and worship the one which has created you and the universe and not worship the ones you have created. These were the words expressed by Jb Mohammed Ziaullah, President JIH Gulbarga while delivering the Quranic discourse to the Non Muslim audience at Sampige nagar on Last Monday on the concluding day of the three day Quran Pravachan program organized by the local unit of Jamaat e Islami Hind. H said it is not the issued before the mankind that whether God existed or not, but the issue is whether we are accountable before God one day. He said Islam gave logical answer. The human beings with all their energies will not get the right justice in this world and the fact that ever on in this world is not righty rewarded. There has to be a day where in the guilty is punished to the crime he has committed and the righteous id suitably rewarded. This is the only belief which controls man from all sorts of misdeeds.

Delivering the Discourse on Towheed on the first day of program Jb Mohammed Abdul Qader explained the concept of unity of God in the light of Quran. He said Allah, the almighty is One and Unique, Who is in need of none and of Whom all are in need, He neither begot any nor was He begotten, and none is comparable to Him. And said Allah, the Everlasting, the Sustainer of the whole Universe; there is no god but He. He does neither slumber nor sleep. Whatsoever is in the heavens and in the earth is His. Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His own permission. He knows what is before the people and also what is hidden from them. And they cannot comprehend anything of His knowledge save whatever He Himself pleases to reveal. His Kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth and the guarding of these does not weary Him. He alone is the Supreme and the Exalted.

On the second day He delivered on the concept of Prophethood and said the almighty has not allowed the mankind to wander in search of the path to be followed, instead he has made the arrangement of divine guidance right from the very beginning. He said the first man on earth Hazrath Aadam was the messenger of God. And from then onwards a number of prophets came to different people I different communities. Prophet Mohammed was the last prophet.

A large number of people including women participated on all the three days.

The Kannada version of Quran was given as gift to the dignitaries of the locality.

Responsible Youth for a Better Society: GIO Gulbarga Unit`s Program

If human beings understand the very purpose of their existence and lead their life to the pleasure of the Almighty, he will become a better person the society and the society consisting of such people will become the better society. These were the thoughts expressed by Mrs Sabiha Sultana, State Secretary, Girls Islamic Organization while addressing the huge gathering of girls college students and the youth women in a program organized by local unit of GIO at Kannada Bhavan on Sunday the 30^th October 2011. The program was organized as part of the three day state wide campaign on the central theme” Responsible Youth for a Better Society”. The program was also attended by compatriot sisters. Continuing her speech she said the society is full of evils, whether it is in the form of exhibition of women as show peace in the market, imitation of western culture, spreading of nudity through dominance of TV & mobile, inhumanity, immorality, are some of the effects which are being seen as the man has forgotten his creator, the relationship with him and his responsibilities as human being in the society. In fact the Almighty Allah has created human beings for his ibadah, subjugation before him and to follow his commandments. Unfortunately we are hardly seeing the noble characters of humanity, instead women have been deprived of their just rights. Islam has given women the supreme and noble position in the society. There is need to understand the teachings of Islam and the guidance from the creator for the reconstruction of society. The reconstruction of the society cannot be done without the participation of all and sundry. Therfore the youths should come forward to change the society.

Mrs Sajida Begum, The Chief Guest while addressing the gathering expressed her concern about the rise of evil things in the society by specifically pointing them out. She said dowry, imbalance between the rich and the poor, fashionable life style, differentiation between the girl and boys, corruption, immorality, degradation of values, materialism are the some of the issues to be addressed. She called upon the people to develop character. The home is the first school where a child learns the basics of humanity and later the teacher and the society moulds the personality.

Rajyogini Dr B.K.Ratna, Director, Brahmakumari Ashram, Shahabad call upon the youths to reconstruct the society based on divine guidance. The spirit in every being has to be addressed as it is made up of thoughts, customs and character. One should develop character. To achieve this she stressed upon to offer regular Namaz, Roza and Haj which purify our thoughts. With these things only one can achiev peace in one’s mind and thereof in the society.

The program commenced with the recitation of holy Quran by Syeda Aayesha and its Kannada translation by Firdouse Jabeen. Ms Aayesha Khanam, City President of GIO introduced GIO and explained about the objectives of organizing this state wide campaign. During the program Ms Firdouse Begum and Syeda Nousheen recited Islamic songs. The prizes were given to B. Jouys of Convent College, Jyoti of Vidya Vikas DEd Collge, Asra Jabeen of Al Habeeb DEd College, Shahzadi Sirajunnisa of Hameed Pyare BEd College and Salma Mushir of KCT DEd College.

The program was convened by Tahura Mushtaq. On the dais also seated was Mrs Saliha Tabassum, Organizer Women`s wing of Jamaat e Islami Hind Gulbarga.

Eid Milan at Gurmitkal : An example of Harmony for the first time

The bonds of bother hood between Hindus and Muslims in this town are several hundred years old, but are strengthened with this program. The harmonious atmosphere has been created by organizing this program and now we shall stive to maintain it said Shri Shantaveer Guru Murugharajendra Mahaswamiji of Kasamath Gurmitkal in Eid Milan program organized by muslim community for the first time in the town of Gurmitkal about 110 km from Gulbarga.

Mr Nagangouda Kandkoor, Ex Chairman HKDB, said, every point told about the life and ones resulf after death is true. If such belief is developed by us it will be difficult for us to follow the wrong path. Yes, he said I believe there is accountability after death.

Mr Govindaiah, Principal, Govt Degree College Gurmitkal addressing the gathering said, for the first time in his carrier of 32 long years came to know of the purpose of life. He called upon the organizers to organize many more such program so that people come to know about them self and their creator.

Mr P.K.Choudhry, CPI, Gurmitkal, called upon the people to develop brother hood by understanding the true spirit of religion. He also called upon to think many more times to the thoughts given in this program.

Mr Mohammed Ziaullah from Gulbarga earlier spoke in length about the purpose of celebrating Eid, how to strengthen communal harmony, brother hood, brief introduction of Islam and its teachings of unity of God, Prophethood, and the login in the belief of life after death.

The program was presided by Jb Syed Akbar, Dt Congress Commity Member and it was supervised by Jb Habeeb Alvi. Al Attas, Gen Secretary, Block Congress Gurmitkal.

The program  though conducted late in the evening was attended by large number of people representing different communities. 

Eid Milan at Sedam, Kottalbasaveshwara Sadashiv Swami & Dr Sharan Prakash Patil MLA addressed

India is a country with diversity in which people from different religions, casts, communities have been living together for centuries. This culture has to be strengthened. This is possible by organizing this type of programmers. These were the words expressed by Dr Sharan Prakash Patil, MLA, representing Sedam constituency in an Eid Milan program organized by Jamaat e Islami Hind Sedam uint on Sunday the 11^th September 2011 at Sarakari Naukarara Bhavana, Sedam.

Addressing the gathering Shri Sadashiva Swamigalu of Kottala Basaveshwara Dewalaya, Sedam said, he pleased to attend such program in which people from different faiths are participating. He commended the efforts of Jamaat e Islami Hind for organizing such program. He said such programs bring people nearer remove misconceptions about one another and help in understanding their religions.

Presiding over the function Jb Mohammed Ziaullah, President JIH Gulbarga called people to read and understand the Holy Quran, as it the book from your Lord revealed for your guidance. It guides you in your private and public life, how to earn and how to spend, in the field of economics, business, politics, running the affairs of the country, basis for international relations etc.

The program was attended by the dignitaries like Mr Shivarudrappa Kolkur, President, Muncipal Council Sedam, Mr Mallayya Guttedar, Shivaraj Bhovi, Mr Ashok Reddy, Mr Chanbasreddy, Mr Gangadhar Gaouli, Mr Laxma Reddy and others.

Mr Riyazuddin President JIH Sedum, in his inaugural speech explained the purpose of organizing this program.

Huge number of people from different walks of life especially from teaching community attended the program.

Be attached with Quran to Change yourself and Society: M Abdullah Javid

Ramazan is the month for our training and personality development. It is the month of mercy, forgiveness and freedom from the fire of hell. One should utilize this opportunity to his or her best. The Holy Quran says “Believers, why do you profess that which you do not practise? It is most loathsome in the sight of Allah that you should profess what you do not practise.”(61:2-3)

These were the words expressed by Mr Mohammed Abdullah Javid, State President Jamaat e Islami Hind, Karnataka while addressing the weekly conference of the Local Unit at Masjid e Aiwan Shahi on Sunday the 28^th August 2011. It was also attended by the members and associates of Students Islamic Organization of India.

He said one should have an action plan to get maximum out of it. This is the month of revelation of Holy Quran. We should bring it in our discussions every now and then. This will develop an attachment with it. This attachment will help us to change ourselves and the society. This is true especially for those who are associated with Islamic movements.

He said Quran is our basic requirement. If it is not read and understood, we will be failing both in this world and in the life here after. He said The Holy Quran is the dining table of Allah SWT. On the dining table one like to have the food of his choice frees himself from hunger. Therefore one should try to get utmost from the Holy Quran.

He said it the rope of Allah SWT. Its one end is with Allah SWT and the other end is for us. One should try to hold fast this rope. That means one should hold fast to the guidance from the Holy Quran. One should go in depth in learning Quran so that his attachment with Allah SWT is strengthened. The life will bloom only when the space is given for Quran in our heart. Prophet Muhammed PBUH said that heart is like vacant house, when there is no Quran in it. He said one should try to by-heart it and said we do not forget it but we are made to forget if we are not attached with it.

To get benefitted from the Holy Quran

1. One should know what is Quran? The whole universe demonstrates whatever Allah SWT has said in it. The Sun and the Moon are bounded to a specific path. Before rising the Sun ask for permission to rise from Allah SWT. And the day will come when Allah SWT do not give permission. Therefore we should demonstrate in our life what Quran says.

The Bird has been provided with all capabilities to meet the requirement for which it has been created. Similarly we are also provided with all capabilities to fulfill the requirement given by Allah.

He said Allah SWT is most merciful and beneficent. He is not cruel. We should develop these characters.

The Birds look innocent. Prophet Muhammed PBUH said Allah SWT will order one group to go to Jannah whose hearts are like birds. And the birds never carry their food along with them. Allah SWT nourishes every creation. .

He called upon to give a thought of Rain, mountains etc. Rain exhibits the mercies from the Almighty. Rain brings life to the barren land and it helps to get our grains etc. Mountains exhibit the mercy of Allah SWT as the Quran says mountains have prevented the earth from tilting.

2. He called upon to practice the theory taught. The one who practices is actually the servant of Allah SWT. Each and every creation in this universe is doing what it is made to do. Similarly, if the human being obeys and prays Allah SWT is like fulfilling their duties. Therefore one should exhibit patience, the Fasting in the month of Ramzan trains patience. If one shows patience means he is expects mercy from the Almighty. Quran says to speak good with people. It says to establish Salah (Namaz). Similarly, whatever it expects us to do, Ramzan trains us. Therefore, whatever we have learnt are gained should reflect in remaining eleven months.

He said, Quran shows the path of practice and shows the right path. It also shows the means to practice. It also explains about what we get if practiced. As it says if you spend one rupee you will get reward upto seven hundred.

To get guidance from the Holy Quran one should be pious and want to change himself towards the better. Therefore our heart should be soft. One should always try to train his heart for which one has to develop love with Allah SWT, practice what is taught, protect it from bad thoughts.
