Why Jamaat e Islami Hind Participate in Election Process

Jb Mohammed Abdullah Javid, President, Jamaat e Islami Hind, Karnataka & Goa said about why jamaat participate in election process

1) We are Indians, and the constitution and democracy make us to participate in the election process. We can cleans the election process and the politics in the country

2) To promote moral values in the politics by fielding the candidates who know thie responsibility towards thier people, promises made to them, fearing Almighty Allah for the reward for the fulfillment of promises and punishment for not doing so.

3) Maintain the favourable atmosphere in the society to convey the true message of the Alimighty and also to help those who are the victims without any crime.

4) To stop fascist forces comming to power who divide people based on communal line.

5) Remove coruuption at all levels by presenting themselves as the one who can do the service without being corrupt

He also said that what type of candidates one should elect

1) One who is known in the constituensy as good server of the people without any personnel interest.

2) One who works based on isseus like the health, corruption, removal of inequality, unemployment, price rise ect and the people will judge him based on these issues.

3) One who works for making his constituency a model where in peace, brotherhood, non corruption, protection of rights are established in the constituency. He make his people to aware of thier responsibilities and tries to build better relationship with them where he and the people are well wishers of each other & vice versa.

4) One who is trend setter where people follow his modest righteous priciples.
- Puts all his effort in fulfilling promises made
- has high moral character
- peace lover, propogater of brotherhood
- good planner: best utiliser of the period to serve the people
- who works only for the pleasure & nearness of God
5) One who is disciplined soldier to serve the society for the pleasure of Allah

Lecture in Vidya Vikas D.Ed College

The Jamaat organised a lecture on "the Role of Teachers in building the society" at Vidya Vikas College of Education on 20th Feb 2010. Jb Laal Hussain Ilkal who had come for the three day Qur`aan Pravachan prgramme in the city delivered te lecture attended by first year D.Ed Students and the college staff. Jb Laal Hussain said in his lecture that the most valued, honoured profession is the teaching profession ans said that the countries safety is not in the hands of the defence personnel nor on the government but on the teachers. Teachers are the one who will mould the comming generation and thus have the great responsibility in reconstructing the society. Therefore it is thier responsibility to shape student into good human being with greater moral values based on the divine guidance. He appealed the teaching fraternity to prepare the future generation to remove the evils of in-equality, castism, regionalism, nepotism, communalism, corruotion, immorality, nudity, selfishness from the society. After the lecture many of the students expressed thier concern about degrading values in every walk of our life and expressed fear that we have reached a stage from which it is very difficult to reform the society. However Jb Laal Hussain told the students not to panic instead do the righteous thing at every movement of life and try to eradicate the evil in the society in the most patient manner. For this one should have the right knowledge of the good and the evil in the light of divine guidance.
Jb Mohammed Ziaullah, President, JIH, Gulbarga welcomed the gathering and Jb Ismail Jan, Principal of the college gave the vote of thanks.

3rd Day of Qur`aan Pravachan

On Sunday the 21st Feb 2010 was the third and last day of the three day Qur`aan Pravachan organised for our non Muslim brothers and sisters. People started arriving to the veneu well before the scheduled time and waiting for the programme to start.
The Third days topic was "The after Death". The preacher Jb Laal Hussain Ilkal gave the pravachan based on the Chapter " Al Zilzal". People were listening to discourse with pin drop silence and many time were found to be emotional on listening to the punishment that is expected to the wrong doers.
After the Pravachan some of the participants expressed their openian about the three day programme and many of them felt that such prgrammes will remove the misconceptipons among the communities and help to build communal hormony in the society.

Second day of Qur`aan Pravachan

The second day of the Qur`aan Pravachan, overwhelming response was found. People especailly our non Muslim brothers were present well before the start of the programme. About 250 people including women attended, 80% of them were non Muslim brothers and sisters. The topic of the day was Pravaditva (The Prophethood). Jb Laal Hussain Kandgal gave the pravachan and enlightened the audiance about the concept of Prophrthood in Islam. He said the mankind was newer deprived of the devine guidance. For the the creator sent a number of messengers to guise the humanity. The first human whome islam calls Hazrat Adam(A) himself was a prophet. From then onwards more than Lakh prohets have been sent by the alimghty Allah. The prophets guided the humanity towards the path of righteuos, tought them about the purpose of life and brought about revolutionery changes in the men and women who once were completly ignorant about the modesty and value and purpose of life. Prophets saves the downtrodden from the clutches of slavery and made them to live the life of independance with coplete obediance to the Almighty. The Prophet Mohammaed PBUH was the last prophet sent by the Almighty on whome the holy Quran was revealed.
Thus the pravachan was delivered for about 70 minutes, the people listened to it with pin drop silence with occasional clappings for the heartning words.

Quraan Pravachan in Kannada

The Quraan Pravachan in Kannada is organised by Jamaat e Islami Hind, Gulbarga at Adarsh Kalyan Mantap, M.G.Road, Adarsh Nagar, Gulbarga from 19th to 21st February, 2010 i,e., on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7.00pm onwards for our non Muslim brothers and sisters. The intensive campaign was carried out from 16.02.10 itself which include distribution of invitation cards, handbills, door to door meetings, Road divider hoardings, banners etc. A media personnel get together was also organised on 17.02.2010 in which leading media personnel attended. All through these meens we could reach about 25000 men and women in and around Gulbarga. Jb Laal Hussain Sab Ilkal was the Pravachankar. The topics of Quranic discourse are Unity of God, Prophethood anf The Lifter Death.
On the first day os Pravachan Jb Laal Hussain Ilkal delivered his Quranic discourse on the topic " The Unity of God(Eka devatva)" in Kannada. Nearly 350 peaple including 50 women attended the Pravachan. Few of the participants asked qouestions after the pravachan.
