Shri Kenchabasaveshwara Math headed by Shri Kenchabasaveshwara swamiji has opened up for three day Qur`aan Pravachan programme in Kannada from 6th to 8th August, 2010. The Swamiji has shown keen interest that the meassage of the Holy Qur`aan in conveyed from his Math located in the Darga Area of the city. The prgramme organised by local unit of Jamaat e Islami Hind has opened up a new way in bridging the gap between different faiths and streghtheing the bonds of communal hormony in the city. Many people including women attended the programme braving the rain which was pouring since afternoon.
On the first day Qur`aanic discourse (pravachan) was on the topic "Towheed" Jb Mohammed Ziaullah, President, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Gulbarga delivering the pravachan based on verses from Chapter Al Baqra : verses 255-257, Al Araf : verses 100-103 and Chapter 112 Al Iqlas, said one should recogise his/her creator. Allah is not the god of only muslims as many believe but Allah is the creator of the earth, heavens and all the things in the universe, all the human beings abd other creations. One should worship his/her creator nor the ones created by him/herself.
The programme will continue for nest two days covering the topics Prophethood and the Life After Death.
