Iftar Party at Govt Polytechnic Hostel

An Iftar Party was organized at the Hostel of Government Polytechnic Gulbarga on Wednesday the 10th August 2011. It was presided by Mr Suresh Shetgar, the Warden of the Hostel & lecturer in the college. Speaking on the occasion the chief guest Jb Mohammed Ziaullah, President JIH Gulbarga said, today feeling has developed among the masses that nobody is watching them and thus nobody has control over them. This thinking has made them to feel independent to do what ever they want to do. As a result anarchy like conditions are developing. The morality, humanity, justice have become the words of the past. "Eat, drink and make merry" has become motto of life. To achieve this one can do any thing whether right or wrong, moral or immoral, legal or illegal. Under these circumstances The Roaza, a day long fast from dawn to dust brings an awareness among the Muslims that there is a supreme power who is continues watch our deeds whether day are done in broad day light or in the darkness. In fasting one is abstained from drinking, eating and sexual desires apart from doing all misdeeds. And this process continues for a month. This brings in a controlling power in one self. He said Ramazan is a month in which Quran was revealed, which is a book of guidance to the humanity. One has to read it without any prejudice, One can feel that it is the Word of Guidance for him from his creator.

Presiding the function Mr Suresh Shetgar said that India is a country where in people from different faiths are living together in harmony for many centuries. The people here have intrincic value which they follow may be from revealed one.
